Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Zamanja, a beta labour marketplace and WhatsApp chatbot for Malawi.

Beta service

Zamanja is currently in prototype/beta testing. Features may change, be unavailable or contain errors while the service is being developed.

User responsibilities

Users must provide accurate information, use the service lawfully and respectfully, and avoid fraud, harassment, spam, impersonation or misuse of the platform.

Worker information

Workers are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, skills, availability and portfolio information. Zamanja may review, approve, reject or suspend worker profiles for safety and quality reasons.

Client requests

Clients are responsible for confirming job details, suitability, pricing, timing and safety arrangements before engaging a worker.

No guarantee

Zamanja aims to help people find skilled workers, but does not guarantee availability, performance, licensing, qualifications, pricing or outcomes unless expressly stated in writing.

Content

Users must not upload illegal, misleading, harmful or infringing content. Zamanja may remove content that violates these terms or creates risk for users or the service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Zamanja is not liable for indirect losses or disputes between users. Users should exercise reasonable judgment when arranging work or sharing information.
